Delete your account

In the app: open Settings → Delete account and confirm. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone.

Without the app: email support@sportslink.in with the subject "Delete my account", from the email on your account or giving your registered mobile number. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.

What happens: your name, photo, date of birth, address, location, sports, follows and notifications are erased, and you're signed out everywhere. You leave your teams, open challenges are withdrawn and booked matches are cancelled. Past results stay on other players' records as "Deleted player", so their standings don't change. As Indian law requires, some registration details are kept privately for a limited period and then erased.

Common questions

What is SportsLink?
A place to find players and teams near you, challenge them, play, and climb your city's leaderboard.

How do I challenge someone?
Swipe right on the challenge deck, or open a profile and tap Challenge. Pick the format, venue and time. They accept, counter or pass.

Can I play as a team?
Yes. Create a team, invite players, and use the switcher on Home to act as the team. Team admins send challenges and pick lineups.

Who books the venue?
You and your opponent do. Agree on the venue and how to split the cost in the challenge chat.

How are scores reported?
Both sides enter the score separately, without seeing each other's. When they match, the result is confirmed.

What if our scores don't match?
You both get one more try. If they still differ, the match closes as unresolved: it counts as played, with no winner.

What can other players see about me?
Your name, photo, city, sports, results, rankings, skill rating and reputation. Your address, date of birth, phone number and email stay private.

How do I report or block someone?
Open their profile or the match, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report or Block. Long-press a chat message to report it. Our team reviews every report.
