Terms of Service

About SportsLink
SportsLink helps players and teams find opponents, arrange matches and record results. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Give accurate details, including your gender, which decides which formats and divisions you can play in. One account per person.
Age
[To be confirmed] You must be at least 13 to use SportsLink. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
Fair play
Report scores honestly. Scores are entered blind by both sides; if they disagree twice the match is closed as unresolved and nobody reviews it. Turn up to matches you accept, and cancel early if you can’t make it: late cancellations lower your reputation. Treat opponents with respect. Reports of cheating, abuse, unsafe play, fake profiles or no-shows can lower a player’s reputation or lead to removal.
Playing safely
Matches are arranged between users. SportsLink does not run, supervise or insure venues or matches. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health and safety, and for following each venue’s rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, messages and other content you add. You allow SportsLink to store and show it to other users as part of the service. Don’t post anything unlawful, offensive or that you don’t have the right to share.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms. Match results you took part in stay on other players’ records, shown as “Deleted player”.
Liability
[To be reviewed] SportsLink is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries, losses or disputes arising from matches arranged through the app.
